Beginner Pilates Online course

Are you looking for something new to keep you active through the winter? This could be just what you are looking for. My next 4-week online beginner mat class starts Saturday at 10 am June 10th! I will keep it simple. I will teach you the basics so you can do them well. You will learn to use your breath to support your movement.

Pilates is like the gateway to getting back into exercise. On its own, it is a great exercise but also a fantastic pre-requisite for safely getting back into other activities.

Each 45-minute class will teach you how to use your Powerhouse and keep your alignment. These are the building blocks of Pilates. Master the basics and you will see a considerable improvement in your enjoyment of exercise.

In conjunction with the weekly classes, I will send you a video to practice between sessions.

I will be available to chat or email about any questions you have about your Pilates practice.

What do I wear?

Gym clothes that give you freedom of movement and aren't too heavy or baggy are ideal.  Be aware, exercise tights can be sheer when stretched leaving you unwittingly exposed. 

We don't wear shoes in Pilates, so a pair of socks (especially ones with grippy soles) can make your practice extra comfortable. Also, try not to eat less than an hour before our session.
